Emily came to us as a complete novice. She opted for automatic lessons due to initial anxiety about driving. With patient coaching, she quickly found her confidence. After 25 hours of lessons and a lot of determination, Emily passed her driving test on the first attempt – with only 2 minor faults! She says the key was staying calm and remembering Andy's advice: 'take it one step at a time.'

Raj had prior experience but struggled with test-day nerves, having failed his first test with another instructor. He joined Andy's Pass Academy for a series of refresher lessons and mock tests. Together, we pinpointed his weak spots (mainly big roundabouts) and boosted his confidence. On his next test attempt, Raj passed with flying colours. He noted that the mock exams we did made the real test feel 'so much more comfortable.'

Michael had an automatic licence from abroad but wanted a UK manual licence. We started with assessing his existing skills, then focused on manual car control. It took a bit of adjustment, but with persistence, Michael mastered the clutch and gears. He passed his UK manual test and now enjoys driving both types of cars. 'Andy's knowledge of car mechanics really helped me understand manual driving,' Michael said.
